This is a contract to hire, fully onsite role located in Downtown Chicago, IL.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, full time

Pay Rate: $25-30/hour DOE

Our client, a respected Chicago non profit, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to add to their team!

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
• Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
• Manage office supplies and equipment; coordinate maintenance of office space as needed.
• Handle incoming and outgoing communications; respond to inquiries and redirect calls or messages as appropriate.
• Make travel arrangements and accommodations for team members.
• Assist with ad hoc special projects.

Administrative Assistant Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of proven experience as an Administrative Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
