Position Summary:

CityFlatsHotel, located in the heart of downtown Port Huron, provides exclusive in house catering for events. Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking energetic and service-oriented individuals to join our team. Bartender position is to accommodate the needs of our guests during an event, while providing exceptional customer service. Bartenders are expected to operate on CitySide (theBar & CityFloats) and/or theBallroom. We expect our bartenders to be rockstars and extremely attentive to our guests’ needs and maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times. Customer service and/or food and beverage experience is a good foundation for this position, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for guests
• Interact with guests, take orders, assist with serving of food
• Ensure that drinks are being made properly and recipes are being followed correctly
• Ability to asses customer needs and make suggestions
• Check identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
• Stock and replenish inventory as needed
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• One year or more of Bartending experience required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work on your feet and lift 30-50 pounds
• Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to be a team player, work under pressure, and stay motivated

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.33 per hour
