My client is a leading general contracting and design & build company in the New York Region. They’ve been trading for over 50 years and have a great reputation and long track record of completing complex and challenging projects on time and within budget. Their primary markets are the educational and transportation sectors, but the company has also completed projects in a variety of other industries, including healthcare, commercial real estate, and government. Their clients include some of the most prestigious organizations in the New York area, including the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the New York City School Construction Authority, and the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York. They always self-perform their concrete structures, platform extensions, and excavation works. The projects they work on range in value from $70M - $200M.
About the opportunity
My client has nearly 2 years’ worth of work already secured and they’re looking to keep expanding, growing, and securing work to provide them with a healthy order book for the next 3 years. They’re looking for a Senior Superintendent who has the capabilities of managing a $70M MTA Project, this project involves technical self-performing concrete and excavations, which could be retaining walls, platform extensions, station renovations, including structural steel repairs and installations of new elevators. Your role will involve managing all the trades on site, scheduling and implementing the work on-site, overseeing the cost of the project, Change Order Management, design management, quality management, and managing/maintaining client relationships.

Requirements
It is essential you have experience working on MTA projects, you won’t be considered if you’ve never worked on those types of projects. It is also essential you have experienced self-performing concrete and excavations. You need over 10 years of experience working as a Superintendent.
