Position: Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Location: Miami Lakes, FL

Role Overview: As a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in managing all phases of personal injury cases from intake through lawsuit filing. You will be responsible for organizing case files, managing discovery, and coordinating medical management. Your meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring effective case management. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of personal injury cases, including intake, discovery, and lawsuit filing.
  • Prepare and manage essential legal documents and exhibits.
  • Coordinate client appointments with orthopedic and specialized doctors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Litify, including damages and medical bills.
  • Order and follow up on medical records and bills.
  • Organize medical records chronologically by provider.
  • Conduct monthly courtesy calls to provide updates and check-ins with clients.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and office staff to ensure efficient case management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Strong professionalism and client service skills.
  • Excellent research, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Capability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
