Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant of Human Resources will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resources department.
Responsibilities:
· On-Board and trains new employees.
· Implement company culture, values, and polices.
· Coordinate events focused on employee files.
· Proofreads, prepares documents and correspondence produced by department.
· Processes required paperwork for employees, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
· Assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.
· Accurately maintains employee files.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
· Ability to build rapport with all employees.
· Knowledge of labor and employment laws.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
· Ability to maintain confidential information.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Two years of administrative assistant experience in Human Resources.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
