03 per hour plus shift differential Position Overview

The Yard Spotter is responsible for safely operating a yard tractor to move trailers from different locations within the yard at specific location.

When there are not trailers in need of relocation this position will perform forklift functions, which are to safely operate a forklift to receive, pick, put away, load and stage product following all best practices.

Position Responsibilities

• Safely operate a yard tractor to move trailers in and out of the docks in a timely manner
• Must maintain yard tractor and warehouse in an organized and clean manner to ensure safety and Good Manufacturing Processes
• Correctly completing all necessary documentation and paperwork including inspections
• Inspect trailers and loads in the yard and on the dock
• Following specific functional area process flows to facilitate speed and accuracy and daily operations
• Operate forklift as assigned by management when no switching is necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications Required

• Forklift experience required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork
• Ability to meet medium level physical exertion requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently
• Previous RF experience preferred
• High School Diploma / GED equivalent required
• Ability to follow oral and / or written instruction
• Ability to work within a team environment, foster respectful work place and demonstrate ethical behavior in all interactions
