CK Power Family of Companies is looking for an IT Manager – Applications and Data at our St. Louis, MO location. CK Power Family of Companies is in the process of implementing an Oracle Fusion ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. The main purpose of the IT manager will be to oversee the technical development efforts of systems analysts, vendors, and contractor in conjunction with the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation, including integrations with vendors, suppliers, customers, and internal systems. This position will serve as the technical lead in the ERP implementation efforts, as well as ongoing maintenance, support, etc. This will be a hands-on role as a cultural, technical, and thought leader.
What You’ll Do:
- Collect, document, and verify business requirements and functional specifications.
- Support mapping standard product functionality to business requirements, identifying solution gaps and proposing relevant customizations or extensions.
- Develop and deliver project documentation including requirements traceability matrix, business process design, configuration design.
- Interface between technical teams and client/users.
- Ensure deliverables are being met on a timely basis.
- Create/review/deliver/execute test scenarios, scripts, plans, and documentation.
- Develop and conduct system training for business systems and applications.
- Participate in competency building activities and internal trainings.
- Lead team of analysts, vendors, and contractors in technical efforts.
- Lead master data efforts in support of ERP migration across legacy systems.
- Lead technical integration efforts with suppliers, customers, internal systems
- Lead technical efforts with data archival and retrieval.
- Actively participate with various committees, product teams, departments, divisions, and leadership teams in support of business goals.
- Build internal team for long term growth and support of new and existing technologies.
- Participate in On-Call rotation.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or any related field. Combination of technical certification and experience in lieu of education will be considered.
- Oracle ERP (On-premises or Cloud) experience is required.
- Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
- Microsoft 365 Systems, Navision, Globalshop, JobBoss and MIETrak experience is beneficial.
- Good communication in English, verbal and written.
- Must have the ability to travel within the United States, average 25%
- Demonstrated experience working with Managed service partners – offshore and nearshore.
- Ability to function with a high degree of independence and collaboration with direct reports, other employees, and senior leaders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data structures, analytics, and other data management strategies that align with business intelligence needs.
- Expert analytical and quantitative skills; experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
- Technical skills: MS SQL, PowerBI, Oracle BI, AppDev tools, REST API, Jira, Azure, Entra, other Microsoft and Oracle technologies and integrations
What Helps:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex ERP project implementation preferred.
- Minimum 2 cycles of project implementation experience preferred.
- Desired Certification in products: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, PaaS, Fusion Customer Experience, Fusion ERP, Fusion HCM, Fusion Supply Chain & Manufacturing, Fusion Data Intelligence
