We are seeking a Lead Registered Dental Assistant to join our team and play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to our Spanish-speaking patients. As a key member of our dental team, you will have the opportunity to lead by example, mentor other team members, and contribute to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside assistance.
  • Take patient records and maintain accurate patient charts.
  • Lead, train, and supervise other dental assistants, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients in Spanish, explaining treatment plans, addressing concerns, and providing oral health education.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and maintaining inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of Tennessee.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) preferred.
  • Proven experience as a dental assistant, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in dental X-rays, impressions, and sterilization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records systems is a plus.
  • Additional certifications can be obtained on the job.
