• Supportstudents needs as outlined in their IEPs.
• Interpretextracurricular activities following school policies and supervisordirectives.
• Provide interpretationservices for all mainstream classes attended by D / HHstudents.
• Direct regular educationstaff inquiries regarding D / HH students to the designated casemanager.
• Attend IndividualizedEducation Program (IEP) meetings as an integral part of the teamwhen required.
• Act as a bridgebetween the D / HH Program and mainstream programs ensuring smoothcommunication andcollaboration.

Requirements

• EIPAscore of 3.5 or higher.
• Experience working ina school setting.
• Proficient inAmerican Sign Language(ASL).
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
• PEL endorsed inEducational Sign LanguageInterpretation.
