Immediate Opening for a Passionate School Social Workerto work at our amazing partner school.

The primary purpose of the School Social Worker positionis to provide dynamic services to pediatric students in a school setting. Thegoal is to assist students in enhancing their social and emotional well-being.and achieving academic success. In this position, the Social Worker will beworking with a caseload of elementary school students.

The position roles would include:

Help students functioneffectively in the school environment.

• Assess areas in whichstudents may require assistance or mental health counseling.

• Communicate withparents, teachers, and administrators

• Maintain accurate casefiles and reports to track student issues and progress

• Assist in remediationby providing treatment plans or counseling

• Evaluate studenttranscripts

• Participate in theIndividual Education Plan (IEP) process as necessary

Requirements

• Master's Degree inSocial Work

• Must hold a currentstate license to practice in the state of Illinois and a ProfessionalEducator's License with endorsement in School Social Work

• Assumes responsibilityfor ongoing continuing education and professional development
