Position SummaryOur client is on the lookout for an accomplished Senior Human Resource Manager to lead our HR department, driving the development and execution of strategic HR initiatives that align with our organizational objectives. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced professional adept in overseeing HR functionalities, nurturing talent, and promoting a harmonious workplace culture. This role is pivotal in strategic planning, enhancing employee relations, managing talent, ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations, and executing tactical HR activities. Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Management: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overarching business strategy.
Employee Relations: Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems. Proactively manage employee relations issues and conduct thorough investigations when necessary.
Talent Acquisition and Development: Oversee the recruitment and selection process to secure and onboard talent that meets the company's needs. Implement strategic talent management and development programs to foster employee growth and retention.
Performance Management: Supervise and enhance a performance appraisal system aimed at fostering high performance, including regular review processes and performance improvement plans.
Payroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees. Manage and enhance a competitive benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
FMLA and Leave Administration: Administer the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other leave policies, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while supporting employees' needs.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and oversee the implementation of programs to build skills and competencies across the organization.
Legal Compliance: Ensure the organization's compliance with all relevant HR laws, regulations, and standards. Stay informed on legislation changes that may affect HR and advise management accordingly.
HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, revise, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure efficient and consistent practices across the organization.
Diversity and Inclusion: Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace and embed D&I principles into HR practices and policies.
Requirements
5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a proven track record as an HR Manager or HR Executive.
