Beacon Hill is Hiring an Office Manager Near Chicago, IL

Our client is a financial services firm who is seeking an Office Manager to run their HQ office here in Chicago. This is an exciting role to be a part of an expanding office and be a part of a global office services team. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the office, being a liaison to the building management and managing front desk personnel. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, collaborative team player and possess strong communication and project management skills.

The Role:

  • Provide office management services and maintain high performing staff with development of Receptionist
  • Maintain orderly office space
  • Manage budget and approval of invoices
  • Oversee management and servicing of office equipment
  • Maintain inventory of furniture and support office buildout projects
  • Facilitate implementation of new office policies and procedures
  • Manage office vendor relationship an contract negotiation
  • Management catering of daily office lunch and special events
  • Handle special projects and ad hoc events

You:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in office management or facilities; preferably in professional services
  • 1 year of experience managing people
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and willingness to go beyond what is required
