Cultivation Associate
· Assist with all aspects involved in producing high quality plant material in a safe and efficient manner, including:
· Irrigation management of assigned areas
· Scouting of assigned areas for pest/disease pressures
- Assisting in plant propagation rounds in which new cuttings are taken.
· Monitoring and recording EC/pH
· Plant maintenance including sheering, spacing, and growth regulation.
· Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with cultivation leads, other employees, and outside professionals.
· Monitoring fertilizer tank levels and mixing as needed
· Assist with the pesticide application program.
· Maintain daily sanitation and organization in assigned areas.
- Assisting in harvests and cleaning rooms after to prepare for the next crop cycle.
- Moving plants between rooms.
- Working in a greenhouse environment that is susceptible to the intense outdoor elements.
- Available to work weekends.
- Can climb ladders.
