Position: Furniture Design Consultant

Experience: Sales experience required (retail excluded); Interior design experience required

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Weekend availability required

Pay: $33,280/yr Commission!

Position Description:

• Efficiently manage multiple customer orders, associated tasks, and projects
• Take ownership of the profitability of each customer order transaction
• Foster positive relationships with customers and suppliers
• Meet required customer ship dates with diligence
• Oversee order completion through the invoicing stage
• Accurately and promptly process orders and quotations
• Provide quotation copies to field sales reps
• Collaborate closely with field sales to meet customer needs (quotations, pricing, project work, product research, expediting)
• Maintain up-to-date customer cross-reference and customer contract pricing

Position Requirements:

• Must have ERP systems experience
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, seals, and packing is strongly preferred
