Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, and additional tax returns for a variety of both business entities and individuals
- Become familiar with pertinent Internal Revenue Code sections and regulations
- Data processing, as assigned by other members of the Firm
- Develop and uphold working relations with associates and clients while demonstrating your professionalism working in a business atmosphere
- Work independently and utilize technology to successfully complete tax returns
- Contribute ideas to define new processes and procedures
- Participate in firm networking events
- Other duties as assigned
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Accounting or related degrees
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to learn new concepts and technology quickly
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Knowledge of computers and various Microsoft programs
- Previous accounting internship or related experience
- Pursuing CPA 150-credit hour requirement
- Passion for Accounting with the ability and willingness to understand how technology works
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Good analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking skills to detect problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
- Must be eager to learn, initiative-taking, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
- A passion for excellent client service
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Adaptable and flexible in the face of changing client needs or new information
- Self-driven in a remote working environment
