Responsibilities
- Proactive and detail-oriented individual who can handle a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure our properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained for our residents.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including inspecting, cleaning, and possibly repairing small appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, doors, locks, windows, and other duties as needed.
- Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and projects and to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents by addressing their concerns and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and adhere to the Fair Housing Act.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and carpentry.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with tenants and management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Availability for on-call emergency maintenance, as needed.
- Driver's License (Required).
- Cincinnati, OH 45219 (Required).
