Clarvida is Hiring a Certified Peer Support Specialist Near Tacoma, WA

About Your Role:

As a Peer Support Specialists, you will work with clients ages 15-40 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis. This position is a vital role providing stability and support during a difficult time in their lives. You will educate clients on symptom management and community resources, and engage them in identifying their overall goals, personal supports, and strategies to reduce self-stigma of their diagnosis. This position advocates for the client’s perspective, preference, and treatment goals within team meetings. Peer Support Specialists provide transportation to clients as needed.

Does the following apply to you?

  • High School Diploma
  • Washington State HCA approved Peer Support training certificate
  • Eligible for Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor credential
  • Valid Driver’s license in good standing, and auto insurance

Preferred but not required:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience either paid or volunteer work with youth and/or adults
