Bartlett, IL Company has been in business since 1982 providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users. Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Yard Spotter to work in our distribution warehouse within 30 miles of Bartlett, IL. CompensationAverage annual salary $65,000-$75,000 per year which includes:
Hourly wage of $26.75 per hour
Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
Typical work week is 45-50 hours per week

Work Schedule
5-day work week: Sunday-Friday, off Saturday and one other day during the week (typically Tuesday/Wednesday)
Typically work 7:00am-3:00pm, work until work is completed
No layovers, home every day
Make 25-35 moves per day with straight-trucks and tractor-trailers using spotter trucks and day cabs
LOTS OF WALKING to and from overflow lots and yards in outdoor elements
Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs
Responsibilities
Report mechanical issues, fueling, and checking reefer units
Backing tractor trailer and box trucks in and out of docks
Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers
Requirements
Hold a valid Class A Commercial DriverĀ“s License, with air brakes endorsement.
Minimum 6 months of spotting experience highly preferred
Experience with yard horse and/or spotter truck required
Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
Familiar with Samsara systems a plus but will train
Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
