PRIMARY OBJECTIVES/JOB SUMMARY
The Facilities Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing facility projects, both building renovations and repairs. The Facilities Project Manager will manage and coordinate the activities of designated projects with specific timeframes and funding from initiation through construction completion.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES/JOB FUNCTION
  • Schedule and manage major real estate repairs, improvements, and maintenance and ensure repairs, improvements, and maintenance funding agrees with lease terms and authorized capital expenditure request or repairs and maintenance budget for the related facility.
  • Oversee construction projects ensuring activities are properly permitted and contractors are properly licensed and insured.
  • Assist in the selection, contracting process and oversight of consultants and construction teams as necessary for each project.
  • Oversee and monitors project(s) scope and budget; Contract with professional design engineers/architects/contractors; adhere to stringent schedules; Process efficient project close-outs; Ensure overall quality and compliance with safety, federal, state, local codes and regulations.
  • Partner with operations for critical improvement and maintenance projects required for annual licensing inspections.
  • Travel as needed - to include project kickoff and punch list meetings - approximately 50%

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • 4 years experience with Commercial Facilities Project Management or Construction Project Management
  • Technical knowledge and fluency with tools needed to track project statuses and budgets
  • Project management skills. Experience developing and executing project plans, project budgets, and directing a team of technical, construction, and trade professionals in support of facilities projects.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to balance the workload of various projects simultaneously
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction or Finance preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as corporate contracts, lease documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
  • Advanced skills with respect to statistics, ratio's, percentages, and Interpretation of data.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret graphs and statistics.
REASONING ABILITY
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
