Job Description: CGE is seeking a dedicated and versatile Operations Manager / Sr. Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing environmental projects, exceptional client and staff management skills, and hands-on field experience. As an Operations /Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to develop client relationships and prepare proposals; oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects; and participate in field work to ensure project success. This is a full-time salary position reporting to office in Brentwood, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee environmental projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage and develop client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
• Conduct field work including site assessments, environmental sampling, and site remediation activities.
• Lead or assist with Geoprobe/drilling work. Hands on drilling experience is a plus but not required.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
• Manage maintenance of CGE owned equipment and vehicles as necessary.
• Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to clients and senior management.
• Foster a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure sufficient inventory on hand for seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Candidate will report to job sites and/or the office as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. In lieu of a degree a sufficient amount of relevant field experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience within the environmental services industry.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
• Proven experience in client management and relationship building.
• Hands-on field work experience in environmental assessments and remediation.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
