- Updating production and inventory for the last 24 hours.
- Managing feedstock (UMO – Used motor oil) inventory for the refinery.
- Coordinating and managing inbound trucks and inbound/outbound rail cars.
- Monitor facility and departmental performance, and assist the facility where needed
- Coordinate department efforts with other groups (logistics, lab, operations, order entry and maintenance)
- Purchase supplies and services
- Maintain departmental compliance with quality program
- Interviewing, hiring and development of staff
- Training
- Permitting for contractors onsite such as HOTWORK or Confined Space
- Other duties as required
- HS diploma or GED
- 3 years of leadership experience preferred
- 3 years of shipping and receiving experience
- 1 Production experience preferred
- 6 months rail and tanker loading and unloading experience preferred
- Knowledge DOT and environmental regulations
- Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization and present data to hire-ups
- Refinery/Chemical experience a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Mechanically inclined (valves and pumps)
- Strong data entry skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Computer savvy
- MS Office Suite – Word and Excel
