Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect optics for adherence to rigorous military standards and quality requirements.
- Perform First Article Inspections and white inspection reports.
- Analyze quality data and look for trends.
- Clean and test optical components using precision metrology tools and techniques.
- Utilize blueprints, metrology equipment, and standard procedures.
- Recommend and document process improvements.
Position Requirements
- Experienced with Interferometers, Profilometers, and optical coatings.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector a plus.
- Experience in AS 9100 and/or ISO 9000 environments.
- High-tech manufacturing experience.
- High School Diploma preferred and 3-5 years of Quality Inspection experience, with a focus on metrology and optical components.
