Case Manager/Counselor: The case manager/counselor will engage with clients on both individual and group levels, playing a crucial role in their treatment journey. This professional is responsible for curating individualized treatment and discharge plans for clients assigned to their caseload.

  • Clinical Director
  • Clinical Supervisor
  • Program Director/Program Manager

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee documentation in the clinical section of each client chart and manage Quality Assurance for deficiencies.
  • Attend and contribute actively in clinical team meetings.
  • Assist clients in engaging in day-to-day treatment activities.
  • Support clients in executing tasks and overcoming barriers in their treatment journey.
  • Collaborate in treatment planning with Primary Therapist for assigned clients.
  • Facilitate comprehensive treatment planning updates for clients, ensuring inclusion of all treatment modalities.
  • Conduct individual sessions for all assigned clients on a weekly basis.
  • Offer group counseling, education, and hold meetings as per the program schedule.
  • Coordinate all necessary treatment services for the assigned client caseload.
  • Maintain weekly contact with all family members and referral sources of clients.
  • Engage in Quality Improvement task groups as required.
  • Participate actively in in-service training, supervision meetings, and staff interface meetings.
  • Ensure that client records meet licensing standards and are comprehensive.
  • Administer Urine Analysis tests to clients after successfully completing the UA competency exam.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out additional duties as directed by the Clinical Director and/or Program Director/ Manager.
  • Positively represent the program during potential marketing opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have RADT or RAC Certification or CAADAC certification, MFT/MSW, or AMFT/ACSW.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in primary mental health services.
  • Demonstrable computer competence, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel.

REQUIRED:

  • 2 years of experience in primary mental health services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

PREFERRED:

  • Actively pursuing higher education in mental health services.
  • Strong compassionate communication skills.
  • For MFT/MSW candidates, registration with CAADAC/ACCBC as a trainee is required, and they must be on the path to achieving licensure.

REQUIRED AGE-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to provide or facilitate appropriate care tailored to individual client needs, including the age demographics of CBH.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The nature of work is primarily sedentary.

EXCLUSIONARY CRITERIA:

  • No registered sex offenders.
  • Absence of a criminal record involving serious assault or felonies. Exceptions might be considered if over 5 years have passed since charges, and senior staff will determine eligibility. In case of exceptions, two additional references will be mandatory.
  • No candidates with a suspended license.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
