Direct the efficient operation of the maintenance warehouse by managing daily operations, procurement, purchase order submittals, documentation, and storage of district materials including MEP repair parts and equipment. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Licensure
High School diploma or GED
Texas driver’s license and pass MVR driving record check – must meet eligibility requirements for CCISD motor vehicle insurance
Special Knowledge/Skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft office suite applications
General knowledge of MEP replacement parts
Ability to physically lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds
Ability to understand and follow directions
Ability to supervise and direct personnel
Ability to be polite and courteous to people in the course of duties
Ability to work closely with the budget clerk, maintenance foreman, and all craft trades
Ability to drive a fork lift
Experience
Some verifiable experience working in a warehouse and managing personnel
Major Responsibilities and Duties
Procure mechanical, electrical, and plumbing parts consistent with district purchasing standards and purchasing law.
Forecast repair parts needs for maintenance trades to keep optimal inventory levels.
Assist maintenance supervisors research critical replacement parts for MEP systems components.
Manage the storage, issuance, and distribution of all equipment and materials delivered from district schools, facilities, and contract vendors.
Keep an accurate record of all items received daily, noting quantity, description, price, vendor, invoice number, and purchase order number.
Maintain a tagging process for all fixed assets that go through the maintenance warehouse and parts department.
Assist Central Warehouse Manager with inventory and storage of proposed auction materials.
Maintain bench stock inventory at all maintenance storage areas.
Conduct annual inventory of warehouse supplies, replacement parts, and materials.
Operate tools of the trade, e.g., forklift, pallet jack, two-wheel dolly, roll-around ladder.
Be responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse.

Mental Demands
Maintaining emotional control under stress; concentration while performing duties. Self-directed and willing to meet critical deadline windows. Use varying print and electronic resources to research and procure replacement parts as needed.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
Frequent district-wide travel; work indoors and outdoors with exposure to hot and cold temperatures and varying weather conditions; strenuous walking, climbing, bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying. Working on ladders, lifts, forklifts, pallet jacks. Ability to lift 50 pounds on a routine basis.
