Role Description:

As the Data Analytics & Insights Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and uncover growth opportunities. This role involves developing and maintaining data models, automation systems, dashboards, UI/UX interfaces, reports, and metrics. You will lead cross-functional projects, design technical processes to address business issues, collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies, and stay abreast of industry trends to continually enhance data analytics capabilities. This position requires close collaboration with senior leadership to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business objectives.

This is a full-time role and requires an on-site presence in Cincinnati, OH.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust data models, automation systems, dashboards, UI/UX interfaces, reports, and metrics to support key business decisions and customer requests.
• Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis to uncover insights that drive strategic decision-making and identify optimization and growth opportunities.
• Design and implement technical processes for data collection, validation, and modeling to address business issues effectively.
• Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to identify and integrate new technologies that enhance data analytics efforts.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging data analytics tools and techniques to continuously improve processes.
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure data analytics initiatives align with overall business goals.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.
• 2 years of experience in a STEM-related role.
• Proficiency in performing complex queries involving multiple tables and subqueries (SQL, Python, R, etc.).
• Strong understanding and familiarity with data visualization tools, such as MS PowerBI and/or Tableau.
• Working knowledge of data mining principles, including predictive analytics and data integration from multiple systems (on-premises and cloud-based).
• Expertise in analytical concepts and statistical techniques, including hypothesis development, experimental design, data analysis, regression, and drawing actionable insights.
• Experience with statistical packages for large data set analysis (Excel, SPC, Minitab, JMP, etc.).
• Proven experience working with development teams to design, build, maintain, and migrate data pipelines and models using cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in data analytics or data science.
• Experience in the packaging industry or a similar sector.
• Proven track record of driving business improvements through data insights.
