Mayvin is seeking to hire a Program Coordinator supporting the Special Operations Acquisition Office. This position works directly with the Senior Program Manager and other SOF stakeholders to determine acquisition objectives and strategies. This is a mid-level position with high visibility in the Command, working directly with Government officials at Ft. Belvoir, VA. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance Required: Top Secret Clearance required Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain programmatic documents and trackers
Facilitate Distribution of Vendor list to required contracting office
Display strong desire to learn Defense Acquisition processes
Expert MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Provide assistance in vendor/acquisition contractor proposal evaluation, COTS/GOTS product analysis, source selection, acceptance testing, and performance monitoring against established benchmarks
Develops metrics, tracks performance, periodically reports performance metrics, and makes and implements improvement recommendations
Reports on/and/or manages the delivery and training for SOF operational initiatives resourced by the client's lifecycle
Provide stakeholders with situational awareness of all deployed SOF operational initiatives including their resource status, effectiveness, and ownership (tactical, operational, and strategic)
Coordinate with customers and supporting organizations in the development of efforts and the management of effort execution
Gathers required documentation and creates effort entries in the organizational database to manage all efforts in a given fiscal year Qualifications (Required):
BA/BS in Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 6 (six) years of direct related experience
Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members, clients, and company management.
Willingness to travel (10-25%). Preferred Qualifications :
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification or equivalent DAU coursework in Program Management
Ten years of direct related experience
PMP Certification.
