  • Evaluate implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/laws and recommend improvements to the Government point-of-contact (POC).
  • Possesses the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior, journeyman, and senior contractor personnel within and across multiple technical/professional disciplines
  • Provides strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff; provides detailed analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for improvements, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges/issues.
  • Assist the PM and Acquisition Team in the planning and organizing of program management activities, and/or analyses efforts of a group of specialists, and /or advising on and performing work related to program management.
  • Plan, organize, complete, and present assessments of program management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures.
  • Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project's inception to the conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
  • Leads optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges/issues; consults with clients to define needs or problems.
  • Supervises studies; and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in performing a wide range of activities including gathering a variety of program information, conducting analyses, acquisition strategy planning, pre-award and post-award document preparation, and milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, staff coordination, and decision documentation preparation.
  • Provide support to establish and maintain databases and assist in the development and analysis of key program metrics.
  • Assist in developing and integrating risk management plans and strategies and support program briefings.
  • Assist in determining program progress and effectively communicate recommendations orally and in writing to higher organizational management.
  • Develop, report, and maintain schedules and metrics that are needed to track program status. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MA Degree in a related field and at least 20 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 12 years of which must be in the DoD, OR, BA Degree in a related field and 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 15 years of which must be in the DoD, OR, 30 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, 20 years of which must be in the DoD.
  • Must possess and maintain a government Secret security clearance.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, and other standard (Customer specified) applications. P E Systems, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
