The Program Manager will provide functional, technical, and administrative support to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Readiness Division at Troop Support in Philadelphia, PA. The Strategic Material Sourcing Group (SMSG) Readiness Division is responsible for assessing the wholesale medical readiness posture of the Medical Supply Chain to meet the Services' wartime and other contingency requirements. The SMSG also coordinates with the Services and assesses contingency requirements from Combatant Commanders as well as other DoD and non-DOD government activities. The Program Manager will work within the current established team and be responsible for:
To ensure order facilitation, fulfillment and troubleshoot issues within the ordering process.
Compile, edit, and submit recurring reports
Provide product sourcing recommendations
Troubleshoot logistical or supply chain issues and develops resolutions
Using client's IT applications in management of a full range of contingency contracts
Manage relationships with DLA vendors and ensure contract actions are executed
Market the DLA Readiness program to new potential vendors
Utilize various systems to assess requirements, analyze data, make recommendations, and execute changes in systems Duties: Capable of providing technical, functional, analytical, administrative, and project management support to current and future medical readiness projects. Demonstrates the ability to provide input to the Government on contract and project management issues. Must be proficient in excel, have experience supporting management of federal contracts, and experience in logistics. This is a full-time position with work performed at the client site in Northeast Philadelphia a few days a week and a few remote. Travel is required to conduct material inventory counts at CONUS locations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Sciences degree in any discipline and minimum 5 years of experience with logistics or supply chain management and medical logistics. Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25lbs.
