The recycling specialist is someone who handles and processes materials to be recycled. You will assist in various responsibilities in a warehouse, such as baling and sorting materials like glass, metals, and paper or plastics. You will also inspect materials to ensure they meet recycling standards. The recycling specialist will use tools like torches and saws to cut up used products and operate devices like balers and compactors. They also handle customer complaints effectively and promptly. They provide recycling and waste reduction education to residents, businesses, and schools $27.92 to $28.92 hourly REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Requirements: * Proactive team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships. * Punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail is a must.
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, Sharepoint, Excel, and Teams.
Ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action or decision. * Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to function in and develop teams.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Problem solving skills. Mature judgment and ability to work with little or no supervision.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to constant change. Ability to work flexible hours, as required to meet deadlines.
Must have valid U.S. driver's license, a clean driving record (must provide current driving record), and be willing to travel as needed.

Able to obtain a minimum of a DOE "L" level clearance
