Summary You will serve as a SAPR COMMAND VICTIM ADVOCATE (SAR WF) in the HQ Marine Corps of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Duties * You will provide professional and comprehensive advocacy services to individuals exhibiting a wide variety of issues related to being a victim or survivor of sexual assault. * You will explain each of the reporting options available, including the exceptions and/or limitations on use applicable to each, and rights of a victim. * You will conduct assessments with clients to determine required needs, evaluate safety and levels of risks. * You will provide clients with information, referrals and applicable resources available. * You will assist victims with prioritizing actions and establishing short-and-long-term goals related to recovery from sexual assault. * You will conduct professional level/administrative educational and interactive training workshops/seminars on sexual assault. Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
