Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications The Space Vehicle / Ground Vehicle Integration Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful integration of space vehicles with launch vehicles. This role requires a deep understanding of launch integration processes, interface and requirements development, and verification. The specialist will also define concepts, architecture, and requirements related to Rendezvous, Proximity, and Operations (RPO), and/or space vehicle propulsion, attitude control, and guidance subsystems. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate and engage with senior and executive leadership and possess a strong background in STEM disciplines. Required Skills: * 11 years experience in Launch Integration with space vehicle to launch vehicle integration, interface and requirements development, and verification. Familiar with launch standards and allocation to program requirements * 3 years experience with Space, Access, Mobility, and Logistics (SAML) in the area of Rendezvous, Proximity, and Operations (RPO) defining concepts, architecture, and requirements and/or related experience with space vehicle propulsion, attitude control and guidance subsystems * Experience effectively communicating and engaging with senior and executive leadership * TS/SCI clearance * Bachelor's degree in STEM Desired Qualifications: * Advanced degree in a STEM field * Experience with government or defense-related space programs
Space Systems Command or USSF program experience * Proven track record of successful project delivery in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment Location: Los Angeles Area, CA - Note: Position is Hybrid and may require travel to customer location Travel: Less than 20% of the time The typical pay range for this position is USD $185,000 - $235,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package). Deliverable(s) Deliverables could be in the format of a report, software file, briefing, spreadsheet, or other document as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction. The nature of this work will, at times, require quick responses to stringent deadlines and always in a high quality, professional manner.
