Our client, a large government systems integrator located in Doral, FL, is looking to hire a Top Secret/SCI cleared Systems Administrator for a 12-month onsite contract. The consultant will be providing systems administration support for both Windows and Linux environments.

The consultant will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows Active Directory & DNS services, ensuring seamless authentication and domain name resolution across the network. The consultant will administer Dell IDPA DP 4400 for efficient data protection and backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery preparedness. The Systems Administrator will also work to implement and manage Red Hat Certificate Services (RDCS) for secure authentication and encryption services within the network infrastructure as well as configure and support RHEL 8 & 9 servers, including installation, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and security. The consultant will utilize Puppet for configuration management, automating routine tasks and maintaining consistency across servers and applications.
The consultant will also be responsible for managing multi factor authentication mechanisms and secure access control with RSA Authentication Manager Enterprise and WSUS for Windows patch management, ensuring timely updates and compliance with security standards.
Regarding the Windows environment, the consultant will maintain and optimize MS SQL2019 databases, including performance tuning, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning as well as administer Windows Server 2019 environments, including Active Directory services, Group Policy management, and server virtualization.
Required Skills:

• 5 years Systems Administration experience
• Bachelor's Degree (may substitute if they have 9 years relevant work experience)
• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
• Strong experience and expertise in managing Windows Active Directory & DNS services, including domain controllers, group policies, and DNS configurations.
• Experience configuring and supporting RHEL 8 & 9 servers, including installation, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and security.
• Experience utilizing Puppet for configuration management, automating routine tasks and maintaining consistency across servers and applications.
• In-depth knowledge of VMware Vcenter and VMware ESXi, with hands-on experience in virtual machine management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring as well as experience overseeing VMware Vcenter and VMware ESXi environments, including virtual machine provisioning, performance monitoring, and resource allocation.
• Experience in administering backup and data protection solutions, such as Dell IDPA DP 4400 or similar backup appliances.
• Knowledge of MS SQL2019 databases, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and backup strategies

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
