ClearPoint Search Group is Hiring a Senior Financial Analyst / Finance Manager Near Paul, MN

Overview:

We are partnering with a high-growth industry leader who is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst / Finance Manager to join a dynamic finance team. This role will focus on critical areas, including Procurement, Freight (outbound/transfer/inbound), Outside Warehouse operations, Inventory, and Capital Spending across our 15 manufacturing facilities and approximately 25 Outside Warehouses. This position offers a hybrid work setting, requiring 2-3 days in the office each week to facilitate collaboration with team members and business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Collaborate with business partners to develop and maintain financial models, providing insightful analysis and reporting on Procurement, Freight, Outside Warehouse, Inventory, and Capital Spending. Prepare detailed variance analysis and identify trends to support decision-making.

• Accounting and Controls: Take ownership of journal entries and account reconciliations related to assigned areas. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

• ERP Systems Management: Navigate multiple ERP systems proficiently to extract and consolidate data from various sources. Utilize strong technical skills to improve data integration and streamline reporting processes.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities. Support the development and implementation of improved financial models and analytical tools.

• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Procurement, and Logistics, to gather data, understand business drivers, and communicate financial insights effectively.

• Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned, leveraging financial expertise to drive business outcomes and support strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis and reporting, preferably within a manufacturing or logistics environment.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and strong organizational skills.

• Effective communicator who can collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
