Student Employee - CRM Support Specialist

Position Overview :

The CRM Support Specialist is a pivotal student role that combines user support and system configuration on the Salesforce platform with data analysis responsibilities.

This position leverages CRM and Marketing Cloud products, alongside data visualization tools like Tableau, to meet current user needs and anticipate future requirements.

It is perfectly suited for students with a keen interest in technology, data analysis, customer relationship management, and developing in-demand Salesforce and Tableau skills.

This position offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and technologies.

Responsibilities :

• Assist and guide users on the Salesforce platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Update and create reports in Salesforce for all departments to obtain key performance indicators for them to make data-driven decisions by converting data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions.
• Monitor, audit, and report on system usage and performance using Salesforce and Tableau.
• Conduct data analysis to inform strategic decisions and improve system efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation for both end-users and the CRM team, incorporating insights from data analysis.
• Undertake creative tasks to enhance service delivery, such as automating reports and dashboards in Tableau.
• Account merging for duplicates files in the CRM system and other data cleaning tasks

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

• Must be a current student of the university.
• At least 2 years remaining in their academic program.
• Must commit to working 10-15 hours per week during the Spring and Fall semesters.

Compensation

The candidate is expected to work towards becoming a certified Salesforce Administrator and earning Tableau Desktop Specialist Certification.

Funding will be provided for one certification attempt for each certification*. While formal classes for these certifications are not funded, the program offers excellent self-study resources.
