We work with a variety of populations and treat several conditions. We pride ourselves on providing a very well-rounded, functional approach.

The hired dietitian will start as a part-time dietitian; hours can/will increase as his/her client base grows.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide one-on-one nutritional counseling and individualized medical nutrition therapy for gastrointestinal disorders, women's health and hormones, weight loss/gain, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular conditions, autoimmune conditions, and more.
• Make appropriate nutritional interventions, facilitate behavior change with motivational interviewing and goal-setting techniques
• Document all counseling sessions and activities in client’s health record.
• Coordinate care with physicians / interdisciplinary team to promote optimal medical outcomes, including faxing notes and lab requests, and calling and speaking to interdisciplinary providers about the care plan.
• Motivation to keep up-to-date with continuing education; Attend training and certifications to be knowledgeable and confident in providing care and counseling for our clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field of study.
• Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Licensed Dietitian through the Ohio Board of Dietetics to practice in the State of Ohio (upon start date)
• At least one year of counseling experience; confident in motivational interviewing techniques and a patient-centered approach (preferred)
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change. Organized and able to work independently.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Confidence to speak in front of an audience and work with a variety of clients.
• Organized and able to manage time well. The dietitian may set his/her own hours.
• Interest in cooking, gardening, exercise and other wellness activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
