As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Production Scheduler for our Fresh Pork area to exceed the needs of our customers through the daily and detailed scheduling of assigned production areas. 

Role Overview:

This role is key to managing product inventory to targeted levels while balancing strong service to our customers and minimizing expired product. The Fresh Scheduler role is very dynamic and provides real opportunities to drive continuous improvement throughout the business.

Who you are:

• A master of communication for our internal stakeholders (Operations, Food Safety Quality Assurance, Purchasing, etc).
• A type-A planner who creates the daily production schedule based upon inventory levels, demand patterns, internal capacity, raw material availability, production efficiencies, and other factors affecting schedule attainment
• Materials management fresh pork subject matter expert, providing insight into possible raw material constraints and resolutions

What You Will Do:

•  Participate in daily meetings with Operations and the FS team to align on value attainment goals, resolve short term production limitations and drive continuous improvement
• Monitor and Maintain Scheduling Tools and parameters: functionality, lead times, lot sizes, etc.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate inventories of raw material and finished goods
• Root cause analysis on order fill, service level, schedule attainment and inventory issues
