We have immediate openings for the position of Host, and are looking for energetic people with positive energy who care about hospitality and providing great service!ResponsibilitiesDaily cleaning duties and completion of all sidework, before, during, and after the shift as required by managementWelcoming all guests who enter or call the restaurant with a smile, while using the appropriate standardized greeting and verbiage Communicating our service model and ordering process to guests before seatingAnswering questions about the ordering system and offering technical assistanceAnswering questions about and offering recommendations on the menuEfficiently managing the seating of guests, reservations and wait listSelling retail itemsAssisting in maintaining dining areas and clearing tables, sweeping and cleaning floors, checking bathrooms for cleanliness and straightening up as neededThanking guests, saying goodbye, and encouraging guests to return as they exitExpectations & RequirementsThe ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining a calm composure and a friendly demeanorUse of good communication skills Demonstrate a solid knowledge of all food items offered in the restaurantFluently and efficiently navigating the restaurant’s point of sale systemFluently and efficiently navigating the restaurant’s reservation systemComing to work on time, and with a positive attitude every shiftFollowing all policies and procedures as communicated by management.Attend all scheduled employee meetingsAdherence to all sanitation and food handling guidelines
