The Neurological Institute’s Sleep Disorders Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Sleep Center team at Lutheran Hospital! The fully-accredited Sleep Disorders Center at Cleveland Clinic was among the first in the nation dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders in people of all ages.
Provider duties would include completing sleep consults, conferring with other specialties, and working with complicated patients.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is desirable, not required.

APRN: Nationally certified licensed healthcare provider who provides primary and/or specialty nursing and/or medical care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with a physician according to a standard care arrangement and specialty certification. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems.
PA: Nationally certified licensed healthcare provider who provides primary and or specialty medical care (the practice of medicine) in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions the collaboration agreement of a Physician, (as per O.R.C. 4730) performs complete histories and physicals on patients of all ages to establish and record patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan to provide continuing medical care, including daily examinations, writing orders, chart notes, discharging patients and completing discharge summaries. This medical care may be in a variety of clinical settings. PA's are privileged by the Board of Governors. PA's in the Hospital care role provide outpatient and/or hospital based care to patients (more than 50% of their time) with complex, acute, and chronic health conditions. Outpatient/Hospital care PA's practice in a setting that requires the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to manage acute and chronic health problems. Must have the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
