As a Surgical Technologist, you will be involved in patients’ individualized care before, during, and after surgery. You will be responsible for maintaining the sterile field as well as supplying inventory and resources, all while following the guidelines set by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN).
The per diem Martin Health Surgical Technologist float pool allows experienced Surgical Technologists the ability to enhance and develop their skills while working in the three Martin Health hospitals, including but not limited to robotics, thoracic, orthopedic, and neuro surgeries. The hours of this per diem position are primarily 7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am, with no on-call requirements. A minimum of 48 hours per six-week schedule is required. SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST EXPERIENCE IN AN ACUTE CARE OPERATING ROOM IS REQUIRED.

• Has a minimum of one year of Surgical Technologist experience in an acute care hospital (REQUIRED)
