Residency coordinator/program coordinator
Under the direction of the Director of Education, the Residency program coordinator will support the following:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for process improvement and supporting the Director of Education.
Create and update compliance reports to ensure the program meets its objectives.
Maintain compliance and update policy as needed.
Update and maintain the residency manual to reflect CODA and Joint Commission standards.
Maintain current and relevant information for the residency manual and credentialing requirement and advise Directors of changes to avoid insufficiencies.
Help in the accreditation site visits.
Monitors the credentialing process for all attendings in the organization.
Educates the faculty and staff on necessary procedures and documentation to maintain credentialing.
Provide support to the Directors as needed.
Manage onboarding process of the residents ensuring compliance modules and proper training is covered.
Manage offboarding process including evaluation and assessment of program outcomes.
Develops and updates education programs.
Assists with scheduling, coordination, preparation and communication of meetings, workshops and lectures.
Help create and promote educational material for the residency program and for the institute’s general continuing education lectures/ seminars.
Facilitate and attend meetings and record minutes.
Identify milestones and deadlines.
Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field. (Master's Degree Preferred)
Experience in residency program management is preferred.
Be knowledgeable of compliance and regulatory requirements specific to dental residency programs.
