WORK HOURS: 

MON - TH 4:00PM - 2:30AM (with Friday availability) $2 shift premium 

Function: 

This position requires someone to move sheets, covers and various manufacturing supplies throughout the plant as well as truck loading by forklift. This person is responsible to learn to operate, repair and maintain the various forklifts of the department. This person must be physically able to lift 50 pounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving, computer, paperwork entry, verification
• Will unload trucks as necessary via forklift, hand jack, etc.
• Tollgate verification, stock put away, Oracle entry
• Drive Forklift/Tow motor
• Data entry and paperwork
• Load outbound trucks for customers with forklift
• Service to and from presses and to dock with forklift
• Wrapping of product
• Dumping of scrap, compound, etc. with forklift
• Complete all preventative maintenance requirements daily, weekly and monthly for all equipment.
• Ensure all proper housekeeping is completed for specific workstation and surrounding area of the shipping department.
• Ensure all safety requirements are maintained for the equipment and in the surrounding area.
• Maintain all required tools for successful performance of job duties.
• Assist Plant General Manager and Production Manager with any other duties or responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience in Manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to read & comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to work well as a team
• Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment

At our Streetsboro facility, we have a metal stamping plant to provide component parts for our pails.
