Responsibilities
- Process and monitor orders for Stores and E-commerce and ensure the inventory levels are completed.
- Partner with the Head of Buying to drive seasonal product initiatives and future product needs
- Own full life cycle and in season management of the business: markdowns, allocations, replenishment, and deliveries
- Analyze and present weekly selling recaps, quarterly hindsight, and other ad hoc reporting identifying opportunities and present action plans
- Assists in managing the timely placement and maintenance of purchase orders
- Executes pricing strategy
- Builds and maintains ship sheets for monthly forecast
- Pulls and reviews reporting as well as Identifies opportunities on weekly reports on business/inventory trend, class and price point analysis.
- Ability to identify slow sellers (propose RTVS, swaps) and best sellers (propose reorders)
- Executes the Best/Worst Seller Review
- Recommends and communicates business opportunities and liabilities during OTB
- Supports the markdown projection process and provides information for internal projection and vendor negotiation
- At least 3 years of experience at an Assistant Buyer level in apparel
- Must be flexible, motivated, and forward thinker
- Luxury or Contemporary brand experience
- Computer skill and Excel.
- Retail Pro knowledge is a plus
- Vertical retail multi-channel experience
