McKesson Medical Surgical Extended Care is currently hiring an Account Manager to support the Post Acute Care territory within Denver and Southern CO. This is a remote-based position and candidates must live in the Denver, CO metro area.Position DescriptionPatients at long-term care, skilled-nursing, rehabilitation, sub-acute care, long-term acute care, homecare and hospice facilities and services have different medical supply and equipment needs to recover or remain as healthy as possible. McKesson's extensive portfolio of medical supplies and equipment offers your extended care site the industry's largest array of products your patients need, both now and as their medical conditions change. Medical supplies and equipment are available in 23 product categories, including durable medical equipment, home care supplies, and oxygen equipment and supplies. Responsible for selling products and/or services to a group of clients and identify new and potential customers in order to reach the project profitability and billing levels within an assigned sales territory and/or account. Activities include: negotiation, sale, installation or delivery, and post-sale services. Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and/or services and maintaining effective agreements. Handles less complex assignments and partners with more senior representatives or supervisors to close sales when necessary. Primary responsibilities:
Create strategies to obtain new customers and market penetration within the long-term care space of SNF, Hospice, and Home Health Agency.
Traveling within the sales region and visits with customers to ensure service levels are being met
Provide customers with the resources they need to manage their business.
Achieve financial goals and other goals as assigned by the business
Qualifications ExternalMinimum Requirements 2 years of sales experience Critical Skills
Demonstrated cold calling and prospecting skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain existing customer base
Demonstrated experience consistently hitting and or over-achieving sales objectives.
Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Proficiency with Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Healthcare Sales experience including selling into any of the following Long Term Care, Extended Care, Home Health, Hospice, DME, and/or Wound Care
