Job DescriptionIntel Lab Compute is looking to add a Lab Engineering Technician to its highly skilled team. You'll be vital to the team's operations and deliverables. This position requires initiative, attention to detail, willing to learn quickly, willing to work with engineers and other technicians, organization, and discipline.
This is an ideal position for a motivated individual who is passionate about attention to detail and delivering results while working in a high powered, collaborative environment.
Performance Profile:

Minimum QualificationsThe candidate must have a High School diploma/equivalent and 6-8 years of experience in:

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

- Technical or lab environment.
- Windows or Linux operating systems.
- Client or Server hardware.
- Networking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Intel Lab Experience.
- Intel PPHW, Server and Client builds.
- Windows install and support.
- Linux OS install and support.
- Troubleshooting and root causing system level issues.
- Patching and system security.
- Subnets and IP addresses.
- Any experience in an Intel lab (BU domain knowledge).
- Scripting and willing to automate tasks.
