What you’ll be working on Provide leadership and expertise to ensure a high performing and efficient business analysis function through process optimisation, development and upskilling the team. Lead or participate in the discovery, planning and launch of approved initiatives to ensure deliveries meet scope, time and quality objectives. Oversee the methods and standards for eliciting requirements, defining standards and quality targets while managing multiple stakeholder perspectives and expectations. Coach and train business analysts to ensure quality outcomes with alignment to the corporate project management framework. Support & manage engagement with Subject Matter Experts to ensure effective information gathering and analysis. Serve as Group Operations subject matter expert. What we’re looking for you to have 5 years in the financial services industry with a focus in Group Insurance and/or leading operational process improvement. Demonstrated people leadership/coaching experience & a deep history of leading teams through project, system or process improvement initiatives. Proven experience overseeing the delivery of end to end solutions and successful change management initiatives. Well-developed leadership, analytical, strategic decision-making and innovative problem solving skills. Proven track record of leading by example. Strong communication, negotiation, facilitation and presentation skills. Strong working knowledge of Group operations, sales and marketing is considered an asset. Completion of a university degree in Business or Engineering with courses in economics, analytics, business, operations and/or project management. Knowledge or completion of Six-Sigma or comparable principles is a strong asset Completion of one or more of GBA, FLMI, ACS, or AIAA is a strong asset.
