This position is based in the United States and allows for remote work. Occasional travel to our corporate headquarters in Johnston, RI, will be necessary based on buisness requirements. Candidates should be willing to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. We are seeking a highly influential Product Owner for Analytics Enablement Services to join our Global Technology Enablement Services organization. This role involves overseeing FinOps (Financial Operations) and spearheading strategic projects centered around business analytics, cost optimization, and total cost of ownership (TCO). The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial background, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ability to create a strategic roadmap that drives cost savings, operational improvements, and business growth.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Financial Operations (FinOps):
  • Develop and implement flawless financial processes and procedures to optimize spending, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide exceptional insights to key individuals or teams to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure strict compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Lead efforts to streamline financial workflows and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Business Analytics:
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from complex datasets and identify exceptional opportunities for business improvement.
  • Generate actionable recommendations based on data analysis to drive informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to senior management and important team members in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strategic Projects:
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to evaluate the practicality and potential influence of ambitious company projects.
  • Create project plans, timelines, and outcomes, and ensure projects are executed and completed on time.
  • Collaborate with team members to establish project objectives, scope, and success criteria, and ensure they are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Cost Optimization and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO):
  • Identify world-class opportunities for cost optimization across various aspects of the business, including technology investments, vendor contracts, and operational processes.
  • Analyze the overall cost of owning different products, services, and solutions, and suggest effective strategies to reduce expenses while enhancing value.
  • Work closely with procurement and vendor management teams to negotiate favorable terms and agreements that align with business objectives.
  • Track cost-saving initiatives and quantify their impact on the organization's bottom line.
  • Leadership & Influence
  • Manage a team of analysts and provide coaching/mentorship to individuals.
  • Lead and influence our customers and product teams daily by explaining the value of our services.
  • Gain alignment for dependency prioritization across product teams.
  • Gain commitment to implementation.
  • Ensure that internal and external customers receive prompt, efficient service for all services in the journey.
  • Work closely with different teams to gather valuable insights and integrate them into service roadmaps. Expertly navigate conflicting priorities to prioritize business and customer needs.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • 5-10 years' experience in product management with a focus on analytics or data-driven products or services.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering analytic products and solutions.
  • A servant leader with exceptional planning, analytical, decision-making, organization, communication, and teamwork skills, as well as strong commercial insurance knowledge with the ability to influence others and build consensus.
  • Able to make difficult and quick decisions daily with incomplete information for all products across the journey.
  • Deep business expertise or experience supporting business domains to set clear priorities for product and understand business value impacts.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive projects towards completion.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with team members and leadership at all levels.
  • Dynamic and imaginative leader with a curious approach and proven openness to learning and trying new things.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software and presentation tools.
Education4-year college degree/bachelor's or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position is $130,700 to $187,800. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
