Up to $25,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN JFK Memorial Hospital has provided medical care to residents in the Coachella Valley since 1966. A group of physicians, including Dr. Reynaldo Carreon, founded the hospital and today one of JFK’s cross streets is named in his honor.
Originally called Indio Community Hospital, JFK has grown to a 145-bed acute-care hospital that is part of Tenet Healthcare California. It offers a variety of services, including:
Qualifications
Hours: 0700-1930
Pay range: $48.45 - $77.75 hourly
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.

Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse License (maintained at all times).
- 1-2 years of ER experience
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (maintained at all times).
- Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (maintained at all times).
- Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (maintained at all times).
- Current NIHSS Certificate.
- Successful completion of EKG Test.
- Successful mastery of nursing skills and knowledge related to a RN I position
- Basic Computer Skills
- Annual Update
- TB Screening
- Ethics
- Respiratory Fit Test
- AB-508 Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of hire
- EKG Test
- Skills Competencies
- MICN - preferred
- ED Triage Course
- ENPC and TNCC (within 12 months of hire)
- PHTLS (within six (6) months of obtaining MICN Certification)
- AB-508 Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within one (1) month of hire (maintained at all times)
- CEN Certification within 18 months of hire - Preferred
