Job Overview:
As the Social Media and Community Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and growing our presence on various social media platforms and nurturing our online community. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our brand identity and business objectives. Additionally, you will engage with our followers, respond to inquiries and comments, and foster meaningful conversations to deepen our connection with our audience.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, , and others.
Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond in a timely and professional manner.
Foster a sense of community among our followers by initiating and participating in conversations, polls, and other interactive activities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Manage and execute content calendars, maintaining a timely and consistent posting schedule.
Track and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and community management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with content creation, including photo and video editing.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for building and nurturing online communities.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for engaging content.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles is a plus.
Other Requirements :
Reliable cell phone with internet access and home internet
Able to travel within Canada and available for out of town and overnight travel as needed
