An esteemed law firm specializing in estate planning and administration is searching for a highly motivated Paralegal to join our growing team. This full-time, on-site position (primarily based in Richmond, VA with occasional travel to our alternate office) offers the opportunity to directly impact the lives of our clients by ensuring smooth estate transitions.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage all aspects of probate processes, from initial filing to final estate settlement, ensuring adherence to deadlines and court requirements.
  • Assist attorneys in their roles as fiduciaries and trustees, handling administrative tasks, client communication, and financial recordkeeping.
  • Draft legal documents related to estate administration, including petitions, inventories, and accountings.
  • Maintain meticulous case files and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Proactively communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and court personnel to keep them informed and manage expectations.

You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in estate administration and probate law.
  • Proven success in managing complex legal processes effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities to clearly explain legal matters to clients.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to meeting deadlines.
  • A passion for providing exceptional client service and a desire to be part of a supportive team environment.
  • A paralegal certificate from an accredited program or a bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
