Reporting directly to the Vice President of Lean & Continuous Improvement, you'll play a pivotal role in the ongoing development, deployment, and execution of our Lean Production System. You'll collaborate closely with operations leadership across individual business units and corporate functions, including Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain. Essential FunctionsSupport & Develop Strategies:
Assist multiple business units and manufacturing locations in creating and implementing lean manufacturing strategies.
Provide hands-on leadership and participate in lean events as needed.
Performance Monitoring
Report on key performance indicators to track progress.
Please contribute to the enhancement of our Lean Production System and materials.
Training & Mentorship
Develop and lead Lean Introductory and Certification training courses.
Mentor lean practitioners and CI leaders across various business units.
Best Practices & Special Projects
Facilitate the sharing of best practices across multiple sites and business units.
Execute special projects to improve profitability and efficiency throughout company operations.
MUST HAVE:
8 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.
Proven track record of implementing Lean Manufacturing based on the Toyota Production System.
Strong working knowledge of Operations Planning, Supply Management, and Material Flow.
Experience in a multi-business unit and multi-plant environment.
Willingness to travel up to 75%.
Education:
An undergraduate degree from an accredited university in a technical discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
